Template notice: this policy is a starting point and must be reviewed by qualified counsel, and completed with your registered entity name, address and supervisory authority, before you rely on it.
1. Who we are
BlueBird Ads ("we", "us") operates bluebirdads.com and provides media buying and performance marketing services. For the purposes of applicable data protection law we act as the data controller for personal data collected through this website, and as a data processor for personal data we handle on behalf of clients under a services agreement.
Contact: hi@bluebirdads.com
2. Data we collect
- Enquiry data — name, work email, company, budget range, vertical, channel interests and the message you submit through our contact form.
- Correspondence — the content of emails, Telegram messages and call notes exchanged with you.
- Technical data — IP address, user agent, referring URL, pages viewed and approximate location derived from IP, collected via server logs and, if enabled, analytics tooling.
We do not knowingly collect special-category data, and we ask that you do not include it in enquiry messages.
3. Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a proposal (legitimate interests / steps prior to entering a contract).
- To provide and administer contracted services (performance of a contract).
- To secure and improve the website and detect abuse (legitimate interests).
- To meet accounting, tax and other legal obligations (legal obligation).
- To send occasional service or industry updates where you have opted in (consent).
4. Sharing
We share personal data only with service providers that support our operations — hosting and CDN, email delivery, analytics, CRM and accounting — each bound by a data processing agreement. We do not sell personal data. Where we act as a processor for a client, we process personal data only on that client's documented instructions.
5. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country of residence. Where such transfers occur from the EEA or UK, they are covered by adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses with supplementary measures as required.
6. Retention
Enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months from last contact unless a commercial relationship begins, in which case it is retained for the duration of the engagement plus the period required by applicable tax and limitation rules. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hi@bluebirdads.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
8. Advertising services and end users
In delivering campaigns for clients we work with advertising platforms and measurement providers that may process end-user data under their own privacy terms and their own controller responsibilities. We configure campaigns to respect consent signals, platform policies and applicable advertising and privacy law, and we require clients to maintain a lawful basis and a compliant privacy notice for data collected on their own properties.
9. Security
We apply access controls, encryption in transit, least-privilege credential management and vendor review appropriate to the risk. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted to us.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
